Crystal Energy Healing Therapy

Monday, August 16th, 2010

Crystals have held our fascination for thousands of years by their energy and sheer beauty. Knowledgeable healers in every culture on Earth have used their powers since time began, and the amazing attributes of crystals can bring healing into our lives now, more than ever before.

How do they work?
“A crystal is a solid material, whose constituent atoms, molecules, or ions are arranged in an orderly repeating pattern extending in all three spatial dimensions.” This Wikipedia definition gives us a clue as to how they work: the key here is “orderly repeating patterns.” This is the latticework that allows energy to be transferred and transformed as it moves through the body of the crystal. The energy of the crystal attracts any negativity in the field and raises the vibratory levels until the field is in harmony with itself. From this comes a feeling of deep relaxation and replenishment.

Medical Intuition
As a Medical Intuitive, I gather information from your energy field about the systems, organs, chakras and auric layers that may be out of balance. This information allows me to then use the crystals to pull out negative energy, balance and charge the affected areas, “mend” torn or otherwise damaged parts of the field and create deep relaxation and well-being. We then talk about your particular situation, in light of the information that has come up. This is most effective when I have no prior information about your physical, mental or emotional states, but simply allow your energy field to reveal itself to me.

A typical session
Fully clothed, you lie on the massage table and relax, noticing whatever sensations might come up. To get the most out of the session, close your eyes and let yourself be carried by the pure healing energy coming through your energy field. You may become aware of tingling, pulling, lifting or light pressure, sounds or visual effects, which are all the results of the non-physical energy work. I will rarely touch you with my hands, to perform polarity balancing of the minor chakras. When the energy work is done, I will gently pull you out of your deep state of relaxation and we will talk about what came up for you, and the information I gathered from your field.

Healing the individual
The type of healing done in these sessions is completely tailored to the individual’s needs, because it is their energy field that determines which healing will take place. The most important or urgent issues will be the ones to surface first, usually during the initial session. In subsequent sessions, other information is likely to come up,
but these essions tend to be less involved than the first. The frequency of the visits will be determined by the client, who will become aware of the changes in their energy field, and will know intuitively when to come back for further treatment. Remember: this is your healing, and your energy field knows what it needs.
Become attuned to those needs, and you will be doing a great service to your health and well-being.

Effects frequently reported:

  • Profound relaxation
  • Regeneration and replenishment
  • Relief from pain
  • Increased awareness
  • Grounding
  • Reduction of stress and anxiety
  • Healing, both physical and emotional
  • Increased stamina and energy
  • Harmonization with one’s environment
  • Improved relationships

Crystals: Powerful Tools of Transformation for Ushering in the New Age

Sunday, July 11th, 2010

Have you noticed how time seems to be speeding up? What you did just weeks ago seems like months, and it feels like we’re on a roller coaster, mostly on the way down! There may be a “logical” reason for this, as we approach the culmination phase of what the creators of the Mayan calendar might have called “the end of time”. Over a thousand years ago, they mapped out a calendar, using their knowledge of astronomy and astrology (the two were one and the same in the Western world until not long ago), which describes a time line from the creation of the Universe (Big Bang theory), some 15 billion years ago, to our present time, in the year 2012. The system is fairly straightforward, stating that from the beginning, time has been divided into 13 ages which all culminate in 2012, but in each one the speed of time is 20 times faster than the preceding one, and the length of the age is 20 times shorter that its predecessor.

What does this all mean for us? Since 1999 we have been in the second to the last age, which lasts only 12 years. During this time, the digital era has taken us for an incredible roller coaster ride, with technological advances being made faster than we can keep up with them. In the age preceding this one, which lasts some 250 years or so, the advances were much slower to come about, but still much faster than the age preceding it. Before that, things happened at an even slower rate, and the age lasted about 5100 years. This is all to say,
that we are natural beings in a natural world, responding to the natural unfolding of a time line that was started 15 or 16 billion years ago, and that was mapped out by the Mayan people, possibly to make sure that we, in this crucial time, are aware of this and will act consciously rather than react to a world that seems to have gone crazy.

In more practical terms, this signifies that we, human beings across the Earth, are in the middle of a process of time acceleration, and time, as the fourth dimension, is affecting everything that is happening to us and to the Earth. As we move into the final age, which starts in November of 2010 and lasts until October of 2011, time will accelerate again and things will happen 20 times faster than they are now.
The natural and man-made disasters that we have been witnessing in the past 12 years may become even more intense, and certain beings who want to control the outcome of this time line will trigger traumatic events in order to keep the power that they have been mongering for the past 6000 years. But this does not mean the end of the world,
quite to the contrary. I am not a soothsayer, but I know deep within me that we are at the dawn of a new age, and that the way to usher in this age is to embrace the values it embodies, such as brotherly love, compassion and peace towards all beings, human or not.
The raising of the level of consciousness of the general population is inevitable, and anyone who tries to manipulate the unfolding of the world events to their egotistical advantage, will need to come to terms with their inner self – and if they resist the tsunami of awareness
taking place on the planet at this moment, they will be swept away into the vast ocean of human awakening in spite of their will to control the world.

How can we, as individuals, survive the onslaught of craziness, and step into the fruition of our spiritual awakening?

First, the less we “buy into” the doom and gloom end-of-the-world scenarios that the powers-that-be would like us to believe, the better. Our energy is needed to build healthy, happy societies, not to cower in fear at what “might” happen, according to the “authorities” claiming to have a direct line to a future dictated by the results of a supposed apocalypse.

Second, it is absolutely vital that we each become keenly aware of what it is that we came here to do, and then start doing it, if we haven’t already done so. If you feel you are languishing away in a job
that has no real interest to you other than paying the bills, and your energy is down because of it, by all means, get away from it. We all need to have activities and interests that nourish our creativity and motivate us to move in a positive way, and if what we are doing is taking that away, it is not serving our best interest. As long as you open up to your inner self and learn to trust what it is telling you, you will be guided to the place/job/activity that is best suited for your talents. Easier said than done? Yes and no. The only real thing preventing you from doing this is your own resistance to change. So yes, it’s not always easy to go against your belief system, and if that belief system is serving you well, fine. But if it is making you believe
that the only way to survive in this world is to have a job that you don’t like, and that you’re lucky to have it because you have no real talents, and because the economy is so bad, etc., etc., then it is not serving you.

Third, we need to learn to love ourselves for who we are. No matter what “flaws” we think we have, be they physical or emotional handicaps, a crooked nose or a bad temper, they are part of us, and have served us in some way, even if we can’t seem to figure out how. When we love ourselves for who we are, those parts that we held in contempt for so long are finally recognized, and we become whole again. Then, we are able to see what gifts they brought us, and love them for that.

Crystals, one of Nature’s perfect creations, are amazing tools to use in our quest for self-awareness.They allow the transformation process to be accelerated because of the nature of their particular molecular makeup. Because of their structure, crystals pull low-frequency vibrations into their field and change their frequency through a
process called resonance. This is similar to when a musical note is played in a room full of stringed instruments, and the strings of all the instruments tuned to that frequency start to vibrate. The frequencies of the vibrations that are emitted by the crystal from its point or apex are higher and more balanced than the original vibration, and they cause the other vibrations present to start vibrating at higher frequencies. This is called entrainment.

Crystals can be used in many ways, and most people are familiar with putting them on or around the body, on the chakras or energy centers and in different strategic places around the body. I was taught by a French meta-physicist, 20 some years ago, how to use them to interact with the Human Energy Field in order to promote healing and well-being. I have since modified the techniques I learned and adapted
them to my own process, which involves the use of Medical Intuition to assess the physical and spiritual bodies of the individual. I then use the crystals to balance and energize the chakras, charge the actual organs and physiological systems of the body, align the spiritual bodies, transform “negative” energy into positive, repair energy leaks, etc. This process is akin to psychic surgery in many ways. Just one crystal therapy session can be a serious boost toward re-alignment with
your inner self and the realization of your dreams.

I am available to see clients in my new office in Trolley Square, in a space that I share with several holistic health practitioners, called “Healing Spaces”. If you are interested in having a consciousness-boosting, energy-giving, health-promoting session with me, please give me a call at (302) 507-6548, or email me at Also, you can visit my website at

Reconnective Healing – Helping people heal themselves

Monday, March 15th, 2010

by Sarah Dickinson Murray

Reconnective Healing®, a registered trademark of Dr. Eric Pearl, designates the use of a certain type or frequency of healing energies to help people heal themselves of disease and dysfunction. In his book, “The Reconnection” he explains how he came to be the vector of these energies, which apparently had not yet been present on Earth up until this time. As a chiropractor, he was accustomed to people feeling better after a treatment, but the healings he began to witness were nothing like what he had experienced before, many of them quasi miraculous occurrences never before seen in modern medicine. Scientific experiments have since validated the presence and effects of these energies, and he has understood that his role has changed from healer to teacher. His mission now is to teach as many people as possible how to use these energies, and become activated just by coming into contact with them, through his seminars and by reading his book. He claims that the simple act of reading it will connect you with these energies, which is something that I found to be absolutely true.

After reading the book, I realized that what I was doing with clients on the table had changed. And it wasn’t that I was applying a new idea or technique in my work – not only the quality of the healings changed, but instead of asking my clients what was going on, I would ask them to lie on the table and then would receive information about their state of health directly from their energy field. At the end of the session, I realized from talking with them that 9 times out of 10 I had been correct in assessing their situation, which led me to understand that I was practicing medical intuition.

This was a very exciting discovery, and I knew that it would affect the way I would practice from then on. I quickly signed up for the next Reconnection seminar coming to my area, waiting impatiently for the chance to meet the man in person, hear what he had to say and experience first hand what I had so avidly read about. When the time came, I had no idea that I would be in a room with 400 other people, all as curious as I was to find out more about these incredible healings. As the seminar unfolded, several healings took place, each of which seemed “miraculous”. Not all of them were done by Eric: I spoke with a woman who had been the patient of another seminar attendee during an exercise, and suddenly began to feel her foot move spontaneously. Victim of a car accident 15 years earlier, her ankle had been permanently immobilized with metal pins, making it impossible for her to bend her foot at the ankle. Getting up from the table, she realized that she had regained mobility in a limb that the doctors had told her she would never move again!

That seminar actually left me with more questions than answers, and it literally transformed, once again, the way I was practicing with my clients. I have often been told that being confused after doing inner work is a good thing, because it indicates that your mental framework has been shaken, opening up the inner space to receive the knowledge of being, as opposed to doing something in order to achieve a goal. I certainly was shaken up after the seminar, not because I didn’t believe that such healings could occur, but because I was basically told that I could no longer practice the way I had been, since other healing modalities, such as Reiki and crystal therapy, would be overshadowed by these new healing energies, and no longer have a raison d’etre. Not that I was particularly invested in any specific technique: my work had evolved over the years, and was not the result of any school of thought or practice besides my own. But I still had to question my practice, put it to the test of Reconnective Healing, to see if I could find compatibility and complementarity between what I already knew and what I had just learned.

What I found out was that yes, there is compatibility. There is even complementarity in that everything I have learned for the past 30 years, from Herbalism and Naturopathy to NLP and Family Constellation work, not to mention massage, meditation, shamanism, Ayurvedic medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine, has a place in how I practice natural medicine. I am not a medical doctor, nor do I practice modern Western medicine in any form; the medicine I practice has its roots in almost every traditional native culture on this planet. This medicine is not about making anyone “better”. It is about helping people to find their center, and to come back into harmony with their essence. Once this is done, the physical aspects will follow.

Although I am not in total agreement with everything I heard at the seminar, I would have to say that the results I have observed following it have been impressive. Not everyone has a spectacular healing, and sometimes the results are not really ascertained until much later. But there have been a few instances of total, instantaneous relief of pain, swelling, trembling and other symptoms, and a general sense of well being afterward. Eric says that healing always happens – not necessarily in the way we expect or want it to happen, but it happens nonetheless. The “healer” is just a conduit for the energies; the real healer is the person being healed, because they are using the energies to heal themselves!

Energy Work

Sunday, September 6th, 2009

Energy work is a form of alternative medicine which relies on the idea that the body is filled with and surrounded by energy fields which can be manipulated. By working with these energy fields, practitioners believe that they can promote harmony and balance for their clients, addressing specific medical conditions in addition to easing emotional distress. Energy work takes a wide variety of forms, and is on offer from practitioners in many areas of the world.

According to energy workers, the health of the human body and mind rely on stability in the energy fields around the body. If the energy is blocked or disturbed, someone may feel a corresponding illness or emotional unease. Energy workers attempt to feel the energy in their clients, and to manipulate it, eliminating blockages, undoing knots, and addressing areas where the energy appears to be flowing counterintuitively.

Barbara Brennan Work
Developed by Barbara Brennan, this involves a four year training program. Practitioners work with the energy system through laying on of hands techniques which address spiritual, emotional, and physical issues. Through an in-depth system of training these practitioners utilize channeled guidance as well as counseling support to assist an individual’s process of centering and returning to the self, to assist individuals in their healing process.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy
This technique works with the cerebrospinal fluid which is housed within the cranium, spine and sacrum. The craniosacral rhythm circulated by hydraulic movement can be balanced through the light touch of a therapist.

Polarity Therapy
This therapy is based on the premise that all nature is permeated by energy fields and currents. The flow and balance of this energy in the body is the basis of health. Varying degrees of touch release blocks and restore balance.

Reiki Practitioners are initiated, training is passed down. Practitioners transmit Universal Life Energy, which guides Chi, or life force, by a light touch, or placing hands in specific positions gently on and around the body.

Therapeutic Touch
Therapeutic Touch involves laying on of hands, assessing and unblocking energy, evoking relaxation and the client’s healing potential, as guided through the practitioner’s intention. It is a contemporary interpretation of many ancient healing practices, in which practitioners consciously direct or sensitively modulate human energies to reduce anxiety and stress, reduce pain, and ease problems associated with autonomic nervous system dysfunction. Therapeutic Touch has currently been taught to more than 37,000 nurses, doctors, and health practitioners.
